Cakes and Confectionery
At Daisy Molly and Me we pride ourselves on providing a relaxed, personal and professional service. Whether you want the wedding cake of your dreams, a pretty birthday cake for a little girl or a box of cupcakes for a special occasion you can be assured of a meticulous attention to detail and a high level of customer care.
If you are interested in commissioning a wedding cake from us we advise you to book a personal design consultation with us at our studio. Consultations are a free of charge, no obligation service and are by appointment only. You will be able to look through our portfolio of cakes and confectionery and sample different flavours and fillings. You will have the opportunity to discuss your specific requirements for design and you should bring any pictures, fabric or other ideas that will help in the design process. Whether you decide to select a cake from our portfolio or choose to have a unique, bespoke centrepiece you are assured of a very personal and individual service.
If you long for a magnificent 4+ tier cake but don’t want to be left with lots of cake then replacing one or more tiers with dummy cakes can be the solution. These are decorated in the same way as the real cake but are non-edible. No-one will ever know!
In addition, cutting cakes are also a popular way of keeping down the costs particularly if you have a large number of guests. These are cakes that are simply covered with sugarpaste and kept in the venue’s kitchen to be cut and served at your reception. The main cake is designed and decorated to your individual wishes and becomes the centrepiece of your reception.
We can also provide a mouth-watering range of mini cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other confectionery for wedding favours, a dessert table or special occasion.
Your requirements for a celebration cake can either be discussed by phone or you may also opt for a consultation. Please contact us to discuss.
Classes in baking, cake decorating and sewing are held in our well-equipped studio. Numbers are kept small so you can be assured of individual attention and time to practise the new skills.
